At an early age, I admitted that I was a sinner and needed to
receive Jesus as my Savior from sin. I prayed and accepted
Him as my Only Hope of Heaven. At a camp at the age of 9, I
promised God that I would do anything He wanted me to do
and go anywhere He would send me.
After high school while working as a camp counselor, I met
missionaries headed for Togo, West Africa. They invited me to
teach their children on the mission field after I finished
college, but I refused because I had my own plans for my life.
During the next few years, God in His mercy showed me that
His plans are for my good and for His glory.
After my junior year in college, I had the privilege of going on
a short-term trip to Togo. After teaching in the states for 2
years, God granted me the gift of serving Him by ministering
to the beautiful Togolese people, and it has been 11 of the
most wonderful years of my life!
